Walking London with the U3A

The University of the Third Age, or U3A, hosts multiple classes, five days a week. Classes include folk dancing, history, languages, five film classes, three walking groups, and many more. We joined mid-term, and so we were lucky to find open spots on the walks.

What do you do if you only have a week in London? Last night as we stood in the biting, cold wind waiting for Sinead, our tour guide for the Jack the Ripper Tour, we met a young couple from Washington, D.C. They asked us what we’d recommend they see during their week in London.

Around the World in 90 Minutes

The British Museum can be completely overwhelming.  We'd visited once before and spent maybe an hour.  We saw the Rosetta Stone, and then focused on nothing while zipping through each of the rooms.  This time we decided on a more organized approach.
